General Description:
Experienced Boat / Automotive Painting professional with knowledge and dedication to producing the highest quality Katanacraft aluminum vessels. This includes but is not limited to utilizing skills in Body work, Prep and Painting.
Required Education:
High School or Equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy in all aspects of vessel production
  • Use of proper safety equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Maintain a productive and positive work environment
  • Maintain above average attendance
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Maintain a positive and proactive communication relationship with teammates and supervisors
  • Ability to work both independently and with regular instruction and checkpoints to ensure quality control
Physical Skills:
  • Solid working knowledge of body work, sanding, masking and painting single stage as well as base clear.
  • Experienced in painting aluminum

General Description:
Assist all departments with electrical, mechanical and plumbing installation to produce the highest quality Katanacraft aluminum vessels. This includes, but is not limited to installation of electrical systems, outboard engines, inboard engines and components such as cables, wiring, fuel systems, radios, GPS, lights, steering systems, carpet and windows.
Required Education:
High School or Equivalent
Valid Driver’s License

  • Must be able to lift, carry and push articles weighing up to minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in confined areas of the vessel for applicable job duties such as wiring and installing components
  • Solid working knowledge of methods used in marine rigging
  • Ability to interpret work from drawings, diagrams and installation procedures
  • Experienced use of all shop tools - including electric, air and hand equipment within the department
  • Strong working knowledge of measurements and mathematical skills
Preferred Certifications:
  • Marine trade knowledge preferred (ABYC Certification a plus)
  • 1yr General mechanical knowledge, outboard motors, marine electronics and electrical systems
  • Forklift Certification
